Update for December 2016

Blocks A & B

Final furniture fit-out is progressing well.

The final defect fixes to the upper floors are ongoing.

In the New Year, the swimming pool will be filled with water and final testing will commence.

Blocks C & D

External works are moving very well, with no further delays due to heavy rains like in previous months.

For the internal areas, the electrical and plumbing installations are almost complete.

Internal ceiling works are also coming on very well, as is the wall and floor tiling work.

Update November 2016

Lobby – Blocks A & B

Walls are being rendered. The final interior design has been selected and is in process.

Blocks A & B

Most of the external works are completed. All doors and windows have been installed.

The pool tiling work is moving along and it’s really taking shape.

For the internal works, all the interior design works are in full swing.

Kitchens are installed, and the furniture fit-out is also near completion.

The testing, commissioning and final defects stages are set to be completed.

Blocks C & D

External works are on the way. Blockwork, rendering, and the 1st electrical fix will be followed by the plumbing and air-conditioning to all levels.

The upper levels are the most advanced, with the ceilings, wall and floor tiling ongoing level-by-level.

External doors and windows are now being installed with a good, steady pace for these blocks.

Update October 2016

Blocks A & B

Both blocks A and B are running at the same pace as the ongoing finishing works.

– The tiling is now complete to almost all levels in the internal areas (rooms). Tiling to the external areas underway and expected to be completed in the near future. External ceilings are complete, with the installation of the moisture-resistant ceilings, plumbing and installation of the electrical fittings and paint done.

– The lifts have also been installed. Now the fire hoses and cabinets are also being installed.

– The safety glass to the balconies has been installed. Most of the external painting according to the original drawings is now complete.

– The steps to the pools have been built, and the tiling is ongoing. This has been hampered by the heavy monsoon rains, which should clear up next month when the contractor will add extra staff to catch up for the lost time.

– The only area slightly behind is the end rooms, but these will soon be complete.

– For Blocks A & B, internal works are on the installation of the kitchens and built-in furniture. This is mostly completed and now the main building contractors are being issued with the snagging lists to complete, in preparation for moving to the hand-over stage.

Update September 2016

Blocks C & D

Blocks C and D are working in sync. Both blocks are at the same stage of progress.

– Structural works are complete.

– The external and internal blockwork for both blocks is now complete. Internal and external walls are being plastered to floors 3 and 4, and setting out and preparation has begun for floors 1 and 2.

– All plumbing works, including mains hot and cold water, waste and soil vent, are complete. Around 80% of the air-conditioning works are also done.

– Finishing works, which are now well underway, are the tiling to the bathroom walls and tiling to floors and ceilings. The process will run to all floors, starting from the 4th and continuing to the 1st floor.

– External doors and windows are also underway and it will not be long until they’re completed.

Update August 2016

Blocks A & B

Block A internal: Air-conditioning units installed, ceilings installed, painting & sanitary works ongoing. Entrance doors installed.

Block A external: Terrace ceilings installed, terrace wall tiling complete, and terrace floor tiling ongoing. Rendering of external walls.

Block B internal: Bathroom ceilings complete, built-in furniture, sanitary ware, and AC installation ongoing. Entrance doors ongoing.

Block B external: Terrace doors and windows installed, terrace wall tiling complete.

Pool area: Steel fixing and concrete poured to steps and terrace.

Blocks C & D

Block C: Loading out walls for block laying. Blockworks underway.

Block D: Setting out for block laying.

Blocks E & F

Completion of underground foundations.

Common Area

Completion of retaining wall.

Structure for lobby underway.

Excavations for wastewater treatment plant started.

Blocks A & B: Reached 4th floor. Ongoing processing of M&E, doors, windows, and air-conditioning installation.

Blocks C & D: Completed underground foundation, basement, and fourth floor.

Blocks E & F: Completed underground foundation.
